Cheap for short term and long term storage

The facility does what it should. Get you in fast, and store your things in a secure place. We needed short term storage after moving to Hawaii and waiting on our lease on our new home so we used A-American. They were professional and provided us with what we needed.

Cheap, fast & efficient for luggage storage for short perod

From Los Angeles & needed short term storage for luggage. Waikiki hotel area storage services were super expensive. Airport doesnt have storage.

A-American kills the competition. Cheap pricing; longer hours (7am); great service & quick paperwork.

Great Experience

I search on Sparefoot for a good storage facility and was not disappointed when I found A-American Self Storage. The price was so right and the storage unit was what was advertised. Everyone in the office were very nice and extremely professional.

Best Deal and start up of fee I have ever had doing business with storage.

Start up fee was affordable, workers were friendly and helpful. They also sold moving boxes to store my items in storage. Easy access to storage unit. Good location and open 7 days a week. Awesome!

I think it was very good that they have parking lot so we can park our car and unload/load our stuffs. People were very much willing to help out with their best and they were very friendly. However, in terms of the facility itself, I am not sure if it is worth paying almost 100 or even more to rent the place. The door is basically made out of something that you can easily break through.

Bait and Switch

Two problems.

1] The driver called at the appointment time and said we had to wait another hour for him. When he arrived the truck was already half full with someone else's belongings. When they tell you the size of the truck you think that's the amount of room you'll have.

2] After they had our stuff in the truck at their facility, they charged us $88 monthly instead of the online deal we had for $54. Their reason was that our belongings weighed too much for the unit sparefoot gave us. Sparefoot doesn't ask weight or I would've entered it because I knew the weight from having just shipped the boxes in a container ship. Why can't their storage take being filled with boxes of clothes? Why is that our problem, but I guess it is now. So they didn't honor the appointment time or the contract price.

At A-American Self Storage, we strive to offer the highest quality storage units, the best customer service, and the most competitive rates in the industry. We also value our customers' business and ultimately, their opinion of our self storage service. By ensuring that we effectively manage our customers' expectations, and by helping them to find the best storage unit for their budget and needs, we believe that no other self storage company even compares to our level of service. We pride ourselves on our stellar reviews on Google and other sources and believe that having satisfied customers is not only our goal, but is also necessary to our success, given the many choices in self storage. In this particular situation, the customer's complaint was: The customer felt that they had to pay more than the quoted rate for the unit that the customer personally selected. They also felt that our driver was late and the amount of space they needed, was not available inside the moving truck. We attempted to resolve the issue with the customer, by doing the following: We feel we made our best effort to adequately resolve this and look forward to seeking a resolution with the customer. Because the customer chose a unit that could not physically fit the amount of belongings that needed to be stored, the ONLY option was for the customer to rent a larger unit. 1. Instead of charging the customer our full rate for the larger unit, we discounted this from $135 to $88. We recognized that although it was the customer's decision to rent the smaller-sized unit, that they were not expecting to have to pay more than the quoted rate, for the unit they rented. 2. Otherwise, the customer's only option would have been to to rent our larger-sized unit, at our normal rate. We would be surprised if this remedy was seen as in any way unsatisfactory. We feel that our resolution to this matter is not only fair to both parties, but an effective display of our focus on customer service and client retention. We look forward to confirming the resolution of this issue and if necessary, communicating further with the individual(s) involved, so that an acceptable conlusion is met.
