SpareFoot lets you sort listings a few different ways including by distance and price. The default listing formula is our own algorithm, and it works like this:
Facility Rank = Move-In Bid x SpareFoot Score
You can adjust your bid (the amount you pay SpareFoot per move-in) in your MySpareFoot account. The minimum move-in bid is $75. The SpareFoot Score for our ranking formula is determined by:
- Distance
- The historical reservation rate for your facility
(the more reservations your facility generates, the higher your score) - The historical move-in rate of your facility
(how many of the reservations we send you actually move-in to your facility) - The quality and quantity of your photos
- The completeness of your profile for that particular facility
(amenities, office hours, access hours, admin fee, etc.) - The quality of your promotions and pricing
- Whether you have a booking widget installed on your website and verified through Site Verify (or if you simply have the site verify link installed on your website)
