With a no-policy vacation policy firmly in place, SpareFooters take more vacation days than your average Joe. And when we do, we typically bring our SpareBags.

According to SpareFoot marketing maven Jenny Zhang, the SpareFoot backpack easily holds an iPad, three bottles of pinot grigio and a handgun. It’s no wonder SpareFoot employees rarely leave home without their SpareBags. Here’s a tour of where some of the Patagonia backpacks at SpareFoot have traveled.

Antwaan: London
We were getting concerned after we hadn’t heard from social media wizard Matt “Antwaan” Stites for a few days. Fortunately, he called to check in from sunny London.

Geni and Matt: Tennessee
When you have Paul McCartney, Wu-Tang, Wilco, Björk, Tom Petty and Kendrick Lamar shows to attend, you’ve gotta bring at least a couple SpareBags, as Geni Glynn and Matt Schexnayder did.

Pete: Colorado
After reaching the apex of Mount Yale, Pete Rung set his bag down and took in the view. Nice pic, Pete.

Rachel G: Israel
“This photo was taken after I hiked up the side of this canyon in the Israeli desert. Only a few days earlier, we first got our SpareFoot backpacks at the 2012 holiday party. So while reeling from the climb and the gorgeous view, I was struck by how the backpack had traveled so far to this wild place and amazing moment so early in its life,” Rachel Greenfield said. “My trip to Israel and working at SpareFoot are two of the most meaningful things I’ve ever experienced, so worlds collided here. REPRESENT!”

Liz: Austin
Liz Fowler recently returned to Secret Beach where her fiancé, Jon, proposed to her. In fact, she went back on the very same day and hung out in the exact same spot. Of course, she brought her SpareBag, which drew the interest of two stray dogs.

Congratulations, Liz!

Benoit: New York and Paris
While in his homeland, Benoit Baudon de Mony performed the requisite Parisian activities, such as visiting the Eiffel Tower and eating copious amounts of croissants. He also hit the mean streets of New York City, where he spotted his name among the bright lights of Midtown.

RJ: Arizona
Much like Fievel Mousekewitz, RJ Gossett recently headed west to explore America in all its glory.

Schex: Hawaii
After graduating from the University of Texas at Austin, Matt “Schex” Schexnayder hopped on a jet to heavenly Hawaii.

JEgan: Berlin and Amsterdam
Editor in Chief John “Jegan” Egan put down the red pen, crossed the Pond and hit up two of Europe’s wildest cities. Although these shots are nice, something tells me these are two of the tamer pictures from his iPhone.

Melissa: Iowa
Searching for the legendary diamond of Decorah, Melissa van de Putte traversed treacherous rapids in a 10th century Viking ship. With the help of some trolls, she made it to Trout Run Trail. Although she never did find the jewel, Melissa returned to Austin in one piece.

DonJon: Cape Cod, MA
Back from the beach on Cape Cod, John “DonJon” Donegan eyed the Boston skyline from Logan International Airport’s long-term parking lot. As usual, he missed the flight.

James G: Thailand
After watching “The Hangover Part II” and “Only God Forgives,” James “Jago” Goatcher packed his SpareBag and booked a flight to Thailand. Has anyone seen him? He made it back, right?

Elena: Cleveland
On a recent trip to Ohio, Elena Savastano checked out the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum, and some really cool public art.

Rachel M: St. Lucia
SpareFoot recruiter-turned-actress Rachel Morse took a break from work to soak up the Caribbean sun. You know the setting is surreal when the beer label matches the horizon.

Juan: Austin’s Zilker Park
The Austin skyline in the background and Juan Torres’ SpareBag in the foreground. Does it get any better?

Chuck: Hawaii
Not to be outdone, Chuck “the Commodore” Gordon snapped this incredible pic while visiting Kauai in July.

Michael Wright: Kitty Hawk, NC
Home of the Wright brothers’ first flight, this hill is a classic American landmark. Orville, Wilbur and Michael: three legendary Wrights.

Dan K: Philadelphia
Dan Kryzanowski snapped this picture after eating a cheesesteak. That place looks legit.

Charlie: Colombia
Charlie Windlinger brought his trusty old SpareBag to South America. Although he claims he had novels and a guidebook in there, we suspect this bag barely made it back through customs.

Waldrum: Seattle
On the Elliott Bay waterfront, Josh Waldrum filled his SpareBag with some goods from the farmers’ market.

Rob: San Antonio
Although the Spurs didn’t bring home the bacon, Rob Gonzales was in attendance for much of the nail-biting, seven-game NBA championship series.

Josh: Vail, CO
Twelve thousand feet above sea level, Customer Experience Team honcho Josh Lipton took in the scenery.
