This isn't one of those huge corporate behemoths like Public Storage. I believe it is independently owned and operated? Being a small business person myself, I like to patronize smaller businesses.
I needed 24 hour access. I got it. I wanted touchpad access to the security gate. Which I got. And which was even more convenient than any other storage facility I've had (I've had plenty), requiring nothing more than the passcode to enter. Whereas other facilities, frequently require the gobbledygook of hitting the star key and/or the pound key. Which this facility, doesn't require.
The items that I am storing, mostly only have personal value to me. And it was not required at A Mini Storage, that I had to carry insurance. In fact, if someone was to break in and steal my junk? They've saved me a lot of work. But the security is good and I don't think that will happen anyhow. Not that of fire couldn't break out and burn the place down. Like I saw happened at one of my former storage facilities at Public Storage in Herndon, Virginia. The whole place went up in flames! And a lot of people lost both their personal possessions, their professional possessions, their musical instruments, their PA systems. OMG! All I would have lost if that had happened to me, would have been a boat load of junk. Junk that I love and have collected over the years. But junk I really don't need to keep.
