The price was among the lowest in the suburban and outer Seattle area, so I was expecting a dump, but the place had a gate and looked very well maintained on the outside.
The traffic to and from was almost nonexistent on a sunny summer weekend, you can get there via traffic-free surface streets Sand Point Way, Lake City Way, and the Bothell-Everett Highway.
The older guy at the office was the nicest guy I've come across behind a desk in a while, he took extra time to check me in and another customer behind me who arrived past closing hours with a full Uhaul. And out of all the 5x10 units in the place, he picked out the one that was closest to the elevator and was arranged wide & shallow (not narrow & deep like most units) so it was a really convenient moving experience. Sure, he's a tiny bit scatterbrained but nothing out of the ordinary, just politely ask to check his math on rent and check whether the free lock given has functioning keys or not. But he's the nicest guy ever.
In the summer, the building appeared to be a consistent, controlled temperature, I'm renting through the winter so we'll see about the possibility of mildew later. The interior looked very clean and recently repainted white, concrete floors throughout, and my unit looked spotless.
I would absolutely recommend this place!
