Elevator broken for months and now again
Ok other suggestions (see below)? Too long?
Do not rent from this place! We used the AAA service (partnering with Sparefoot) to find this location. Before we rented it, we asked if the location had an elevator. The staff member was not forthcoming that the elevator had been out of service for months. They simply indicated it was being worked on that day. After calling back later, we eventually were told the elevator had been fixed. We came over twice in the week to confirm it was working. Then in the middle of a large move, the elevator broke again. All Storage did not offer to help in anyway. They told us the elevator would not be repaired today and they did not know when it would be. We asked if they could compensate us with a space on the first floor so the movers would not have to move a whole large truck up the stairs. In the meantime we were paying double time for the movers and All Storage offered a discount equivalent of 1/2 hour of the movers time. Not a fair compensation given the impact. The regional manager did not provide any further support or guidance to help alleviate the burden. So buyer beware - rent at your own risk. Definitely not a AAA recommended experience.
