Today, I received the best customer service ever from any storage facility I've used in the past. Tiffany was absolutely amazing! She definitely knows her job, the computer system and she listens to her customers needs and is quick to remedy a solution. She turned a glim situation upside down and I appreciate her efforts. Thank you Tiffany, I definitely see Manager/District Manager is in your near future.

I had completed one review, excellent. This is the second, but different, must be for the corporate office. Public Storage in Elkwood, MD In the back corner of a large townhouse housing development that is being built in phases. It has no signs until you arrive. Issue - even following GPS - the road ACTUALLY takes one thru a housing development, so while one is looking for the public storage sign, driving thru the area, one would think that the address and or electronic maps are inaccurate and turnaround and or go to another company, of which there are 4-5 in the exact same area!? - THUS - PS NEEDS adequate SIGNAGE. On the main road from both directions and leading up to the facility. The facility is neat and clean. Very orderly. The PS Business associate, Ms. Chanel, was very courteous and professional. Facilities, like this do not have employees of this fine caliber. So be sure you recruit well and continue to take care of your employees. The office are was neat and clean, very organized. The paperwork processing was efficient and efficiently organized. Ms. Chanel's thoughtfulness and professionalism, built immediate trust. Good value, fair, secure and ... trustworthy. Items/observations/Issues that emerged - for Your Review: Climate Control - We were not able to determine if it was climate controlled. - This "Climate Control" should be labeled on the building (s), and the exact paperwork as it applies. Facility Storage Client Access - First time with an internal access only storage. I was not aware unless they were smaller. We were able to access, storage located at the end of the last building. Carts are stored in the office building in the front (?!?!) - So it is advisable to come up with a solution. Carts are large and one is not going to carry them. You might have several stored throughout with RF ID and LABELED to the fact they are RF ID labeled. Where those that signed them out are responsible, and PS can TRACK them anyway. The cart had seen better days. It barely fit thru the back door of the last building. Door width and access should be wider. When loading a wobbly cart, traveling thru tight access door, to storage area, can require care, alot more than needed. - May be a turn off to future customers. PS Client Site Access - The ID access station at the entrance gate is awkwardly placed as well. One has to exit their vehicle, input and return and move thru before the gate closes and or cancels execution of the access code. (Little nuances.....any business school program will tell you little nuances are important items that have to be continually corrected) Lighting. I was there during the late morning. Glad I was. As there is no internal lighting other then the main building access hallway corridor. (!?!?) - - - Lighting improvement should be considered. The building is located on a hill. Solar or wind installation? To generate electricity to offset any electricity cost requirements? Large spot lights could be offered for low rental cost? Or just overall improved lighting that reflects into internal building storage areas. Another suggestion - - - Climate control....sometimes, clients have some belongings that they would like to store in climate control areas, that does not require a full separate storage. - Thus a section, climate controlled, with small areas, large and medium size lockers, may be a worthy business facilitation offering. (i.e. someone wants to store art work, family heirlooms, etc.....could offer a large locker for a modest price to a regular customer...) It is known, that most storage companies do not care about the facility nor improving. Times have changed. Alot. Thus it may be necessary to revisit, physical storage area design improvements and future facility design improvements. Most of these observations should NOT have been necessary for a focused business sector professionals. However you should and must get feedback from the field, and as YOU request

Thorough customer service with a good rate for unit.
I reserved the unit online with a move in date about a week out. Was contacted the following day with the option to move in immediately. Property seems safe. Only hang up I have is the gate has a lock out time of 9 pm. I am just used to 24 hour access to my stuff.
