A very helpful clerk made a move out easier.
I recently had to move quickly, and though Highway 99 Self Storage is out of the way, it's cheaper than the storage companies in down town. The actual facility requires a code to both enter and leave through the electronic gate (that way no one can jump the fence and then buzz a car in without actually having a code); so the place has good security. You can bring your own lock or buy one for $15. You can also pay in cash, credit, or debit, but you have to pay for the full month on the 1st of every month. They do give refunds for partial months, but their rules around that are a little clumsy.
The best part of my experience with them was the clerk explained everything (including how best to get my refund for the partial month I have my stuff in storage for) very clearly. She was wonderfully friendly.
Good place to go, but bring your own lock if you have a good one.
