It was my scheduled move-in date and I called ahead the day before to make an appointment and they told me just to stop in whenever. So I showed up at 11:30am on my scheduled date (even though I was sick with the flu) and nobody was there. The sign on the door said they were closed and would return at 9:30am. I waited a half hour and other people arrived and asked me why they were closed, but I didn't know. After 45 minutes, I called their number and someone from the customer service center answered. He called the manager's cell and then told me that they said they had an emergency at another facility and would be coming in 10 minutes. Finally, over an hour after I first arrived, two different people showed up and opened the facility. The woman apologized to me and said that she had to shut down the other facility where she was at to come take care of me, so I felt bad. Then she said, "The person who was supposed to be here this morning apparently didn't bother coming to work today." So then I realized someone lied to me somewhere along the way. I was really upset, especially because I had a bad stomach bug and a fever and I was cold from sitting out in my car forever and desperately needing a bathroom. Moreover, I traveled over 30 miles to get there and 30 miles back.
