I reserved a unit online on July 7th with a move in date of July 18th. When I called on July 17 to inquire about insurance requirements, the woman I spoke with said she had no reservation and that they don't hold units in reserve because if someone walks in and wants one that is who they will rent to. She proceeded to tell me I didn't understand how this website worked. She literally argued with me and I told her I thought she was the one who did not understand how reservations worked. I was very upset by the experience and didn't know what I was going to do, but called Sparefoot and they helped me arrange another unit nearby and I am very pleased with Sparefoot customer support and with Stop 'n Lock IV on Ramada Dr. in Lansing. As for My Space, they need to get off of Sparefoot until they understand what "reservation" means.
With regards to the ratings, I can really only comment honestly on price and customer service.
