Great facility but.......

First of all, I wasn't aware that I needed to fill out all of the paperwork before I arrived. When I did arrive, there was no one in the facility, just a kiosk. I get it, and maybe I'm a little old school, but I'd rather have a little more human interaction. Especially when the kiosk "froze" and I had to call the assistance line (thank God the number was clearly posted). Getting checked in was a rather lengthy task and when all was said and done the customer service rep asked if there was anything else? I asked if I was able to purchase a lock from them and she said put me on hold and came back and said there should be a vending machine there which I could purchase one but I informed her that it was completely empty. Luckily my boyfriend just so happened to have one with him so I didn't have to leave my belongings unprotected. All in all, the facility is nice and I appreciate the 24 hour access but I just wish I would have known more before showing up with a truck full of furniture ready to just drop it off. If I recommend this facility to a friend, I'll have A LOT of information for them beforehand.

A few problems that are fixable. There are snakes!

I arrived to the 24 hr. storage facility to find a broken gate. There wasn't an answer at the customer service number. We went back the next morning and pushed the broken gate open. When I got to the unit, I found 8-10 snake skins laying in front of the unit and three snake skins inside the unit. Also, the unit smells like urine in the front corner. I like the 24 hr. access for my move, but with the broken gate and snakes I probably shouldn't go to the unit in the dark. My thought on the operation of the 24 hr. storage facility is that there should be someone to manage potentially the only real problem that can occur, the gate. Otherwise, I'd recommend the facility because these things could be fixed.

Very limited space for outside space storage for vehicles/RV/ boat.

Very difficult to store a larger vehicle or trailer as facility is very small and not very well set up.

Cramped and nowhere to turn around

I rented an outside parking space for my boat. To my surprise, when I get there, they have no room for me to turn around with the boat and trailer. There is not enough room to back the trailer out either. So when I want to use my boat it will be quite the undertaking. I am not sure how I will get my boat out of this cramped storage facility.
