Really good experience. Staff was awesome. I had an outdoor storage unit so roaches and other creepy crawlers got in which I guess is expected.

The area is decent and the people helping me were very good. I like the fact that the management lives on site.

Great location (for me)
The person who helped me out, Shayne (I believe that's how it was spelled) was an extremely nice guy. Real laid back, professional, and just a genuine guy. However there were some other employees that didn't seem as friendly and weren't very professional. When they came into the office, they didn't acknowledge me or anything, not even smile at me which I found to be rude. From my customer experience through previous jobs, and just as a general rule of thumb for how I was raised, you greet everybody around you with some respect. It's an older storage place, so it's not as clean as some others I've been to. My family's property management company actually owns a few self storage's that are all very well kept, so one could say I'm biased in that sense, however I asked for a broom and in my storage unit there were a few dead cockroaches and quite a bit of random crap on the floor. I would expect some type of maintenance be made for all of the units somewhat frequently. We'll see how it goes. After I cleaned up and got my stuff in there, it's not too bad other than the fact that the air conditioned unit isn't as cold as I'd like for it to be. Since I am paying extra for that luxury, I do expect better, so I'm going to ask if our enclosed unit could have a weather strip installed and a changed air filter. The one that's currently on the air conditioner is absolutely filthy. As far as security, they do have cameras in place and a gate with an access code, so that's about as secure as it's going to get. The main reason I chose this place is because it's literally 1-2 minutes (depending on if I hit red or green lights on the way) from where I live which is the best part since I'm using the unit for my business.

There are Way better facilliteis
I went in for the on-[ine special, 50 % off first month. When I recieved that bill I was surprized that I was forced to accept your insurance. I have units in 2 other cities here in Florida and none has asked, or forced me to pay to that fee. I'm covered under my own insurance. I really want my nine dollars back. I feel like I was nickle and dimed. The unit doors are out of date and are hard to work. When I was originally regerstering to get the unit I was asked for my license. Acceptable. I was paying with my Bank card which matched the name on the license. Then they ask for my Social Security number. That was and is totally unacceptable. No other facillity has ever asked for that. You would have all the personal information needed to do harm to me personally and financially. Why would anyone want to give all that personal information to what would be considered an unsecure facillity and personel not verified? They settled for the last 4 of my social. That is bad policy in this day and age.
