Hands down the best storage company I have ever dealt with.
I have had storage units in the past, and I have to say that the system and the people at Life Storage are the best that I have come across. I found them on line and after checking rates and reviews, I made a reservation on line for the size unit that I wanted at what I felt was an outstanding rate. Two days later I went to the facility to physically check the unit out. The facility is fairly new and I was very impressed with the cleanliness and security and the climate control was exactly what I needed. After speaking further with Chris about possibly using their 10 Ft box truck I found out that it was available to new customers for only a minimal fee, but unfortunately, for me their truck was in the process of being sold and could not be used. However, Chris made arrangements for a truck from another Life Storage facility located not far away in Doylestown. They gave me the, unbeatable, new customer rate with 20 free miles. The use of the Truck at the price they gave me made it well worth my while to use Life Storage as my preferred storage place.
On the day of the move I stopped at Ottsville, and paid my first months rent, and picked up the lock and key that Life Storage provides, and then drove to Doylestown to pick up the truck. Everything went smoothly but the move took longer than I had hoped and I was not able to get the truck back to Doylestown before the Office closed. I called them and was assured me that it would be alright if I parked the truck outside their office and dropped the Key in their drop, box which is what I did. I called again the next morning and they told me what the total cost was based on the miles that I travelled. One thing that I should mention is that if you make the reservation for the unit that you want do it online. Believe it or not the rate is higher if you make it through the office.
I have to say that I am very impressed with Life Storage, their rates, their systems, their facilities, and their personnel.
