They didn't honor the reservation
I reserved a unit here for July 1. I went in a week early just to check the place out and confirm things. The guy on duty said that they didn't have any of that size available but he could give me two units that would combine to that total square footage. Not what I wanted. I said that I could delay my start date if they had something coming available. He said that would be good. I said that I wanted to be sure that I did not lose the monthly rate in my original reservation. He made a call and assured me that it would be okay.
I changed the reservation move in date online and all looked good. I called a few days later to double check and was told by Diana that everything would be fine, including the rate. She also said that they had units available and she didn't know why I had been told something different.
Today I went by to complete the paperwork and they barely let me in at 5:35 even though their hours are stated as open until 6:00. They don't let people in after 5:30, which really means that they close at 5:30 but will complete a transaction that is initiated before then. Then they refused to honor the rate. They said that it would only have been good for a couple of days after I had changed the original reservation. Nothing online or on paper stated this and I had been assured three different times that it would not be a problem.
These people were incredibly rude and threw me out of their office. The old lady asked me "who are you?", as if I need to "be" someone to receive the rate that they had represented. They said that they didn't need my business and that there were plenty of other storage places.
Unless you enjoy dealing with really rude, dishonest people, I would stay away from here.
