Bit pricy, understaffed, but safe facility
The facility is clean, the place is well-lit, and security is adequate. However, they are understaffed, and when I showed up to sign my paperwork the day of my move nobody was in the front office. This was 1.5 hours after they were supposed to have been open for the day. There was a sign on the door saying the manager was out on the property and would be back at 10:05--40 minutes away. I couldn't wait, so I had to come back later, after numerous unsuccessful phone calls to the various numbers provided. This put my move an hour behind schedule, and it was an added hassle on an already stressful moving day. The woman who manages the desk is well-intentioned, but it seems that additional staff is necessary.
If you choose LifeStorage/Alcove, plan to start your lease term a day in advance of when you actually need to move so that you don't get behind schedule with U-Haul, your moving company, etc.
Also be prepared to pay a $15 lock fee, $30 administrative fee, and $20 monthly renter's insurance fee in addition to your estimated monthly rent (variable depending on size).
