stuck in elevator
stuck in the elevator, per Help button 45 minute ETA for tech assistance , asked Help representative to phone local 911 or Shelby Fire Department. Help said he could not. I informed him as to how to make the call, but he did not do so. No signals for cell call use, so I could not call 911. However, I was able to. text someone for help and they phoned the Shelby Fire Department, who were dispatched immediately. Another customer came up on the 2nd elevator and was afraid to go back down. She could not locate the stairwell to walk down because there were no signs indicating location of STAIRS. my phone did allow me to phone the ExtraStorage Shelby location number, but it went to voice mail. The same occurred when the 2nd customer tried calling. The 2nd customer was somehow able to reach the on duty Shelby ExtraStorage manager who immediately came and assisted us in getting out of the elevator, just before the Shelby Fire Department arrived. The Shelby Extra Storage Manager was great!
