Hiccups In Beginning But Still Good
Having had a storage unit before, I knew the pricing was very competitive. I knew the location was very good. I knew that overall, this has to be the best deal in town. And I think it is!
The hiccups were due to COVID-related issues with their site. First, the code they gave me for entry did not work. I knew I was entering it correctly but no go, so I had to call customer service after hours. Then the property manager came out to get it set up, as the website doesn’t do a good job. She was nice and got me set up with a working code.
Then I got inside the parking lot and the building to my unit. It was supposed to come with a lock, but it wasn’t in the unit when I got there, in spite of the emailed instructions indicating it would be there. Again, it was with the oversight of their list from the website not putting me on their list for locks.
The email also told me to open the unlocked yellow tab, which I did according to the instructions given. I cut my finger on it and was none the richer for doing so. So don’t bother with the yellow tabs. Just take them off the unit and set them aside. Apparently, they indicate to the staff as to which are still vacant.
I did get the lock the next time I came in even though it was after hours, so that’s good. And they have rolling carts for you to take your stuff to your unit. SO HELPFUL! Ultimately, it was still a good experience but just make sure those items are in place before you come and be sure to work with them, as they need flexibility like the rest of us during this whole pandemic thing.
It’s worth doing and I would recommend it!
