Planned

In New York, the city of Rye is reviewing an application for a site-development plan, wetland permit and steep slope permit. These are for the construction of a five-story, 100,000-square-foot self-storage facility. The proposed property also will need area variances from the Board of Appeals. The proposed area sits on 3.25 acres between Interstates I-287 and I-95. Source: Patch.com

A Deep River Partners proposed mixed-use development in north High Point, N.C. may include an internal self-storage facility. The City Council will discuss the proposed development, which would need 54.8 acres on the east side of N.C. 68 between Piedmont Parkway and Regency Drive, on May 15. The Planning and Zoning Commission unanimously voted for approval of the request, which also allows up to 600 apartments plus commercial uses. Source: High Point News
