Rosewood Property Co. bought a new self-storage facility at 770 N. Kolb Road in Tucson, AZ. It’s the company’s 78th facility nationwide and first in Arizona, and was built at the former home of the Gateway Century 12-movie theater. The facility has 66,429 square feet of rentable square feet spread across 661 units. Barbara Guffey of Blue Horizon Storage was the broker on the transaction. Extra Space Storage will remain as the manager. Rosewood has self-storage square footage of 76.2 million in 23 states.

Jared Jones, CCIM of Argus Self Storage Advisors and Jones Investment Real Estate, announced the sale of the Fortress Self Storage portfolio, which has four properties in Lawton, OK. The portfolio sold to a private buyer. The portfolio has a total of 198,802 rentable square feet. Argus is based in Denver, CO. Jones is the Argus broker affiliate representing Oklahoma.
