Love’s Travel Stops has promoted longtime employee Roger Ahuja to vice president of operations, putting him in charge of the company’s new self-storage division.

Ahuja now oversees Love’s Storage Solutions, as well as retail operations of the company’s travel stops. He also runs the company’s recently launched hotel division, Love’s Hospitality.

This year, Love’s opened self-storage facilities in El Paso, TX, and Sweetwater, TX. The facilities are adjacent to company-owned travel stops. Love’s has six more facilities planned over the next few years, with locations in Las Vegas, NV, and Bridgeton, MO, opening next summer, according to the El Paso Times.

Ahuja joined Edmond, OK-based Love’s in 1994 as a store manager. He most recently was director of operations services at Love’s, which has 350 locations nationwide.
