Strategic Storage Growth Trust is growing again, recently closing on three self-storage facilities for $26.69 million.

The Ladera Ranch, CA-based REIT purchased the 76,700-square-foot self-storage facility at 8239 Broadway in San Antonio, TX for $12.3 million; the 60,100 square-foot facility at 1671 Northpark Drive in Kingwood, TX for $8.46 million; and the 59,500-square-foot facility at 500 Laredo in Aurora, CO for $5.94 million. The facilities were all sold by Arrington’s Self Storage & Star Storage.

A fourth facility, at 875 E. Ashby Place in San Antonio, is expected to close in January for $12.3 million as part of the Arrington portfolio. The transactions are detailed in documents filed by SSGT with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

Pegasus Group, operator of Central Self-Storage, purchased the 63,751-square-foot Castle & Cooke Self Storage facility at 95-1080 Lehiwa Drive in Mililani, HI for $14.5 million, according to Pacific Business News. The seller was Westlake Village, CA-based Castle & Cooke. The facility is Pegasus’ second facility in Hawaii.

Columbia, MO-based StorageMart recently closed on five properties in three Midwestern states, adding 550,000 square feet of storage space and 2,693 units to the company’s portfolio. Purchase price was not disclosed. Four of the properties were acquired from Omaha, NE real estate firm McGregor Interests. Those facilities are 8404 South Highway 7 in Blue Springs, MO; 1901 South Ankeny Boulevard in Ankeny, IA; 10921 Sapp Brothers Drive in Omaha; and 9815 Reddick Avenue in Omaha. The fifth property at 10010 Scott Circle in Omaha was acquired from Cherry Hills Village LLC.

A local investor purchased the 55,225-square-foot Seminole Storage facility at 38847 County Road 54 in Zephyrhills, FL for $2.45 million, property records show. The seller was also a local investor. The facility offers 306 units. Michael Mele, Luke Elliott and Brian Baldwin of Marcus & Millichap arranged the transaction

Phoenix, AZ-based Wentworth Property Company purchased the 86,000-square-foot self-storage facility at 6960 Robindale Road in Las Vegas, NV. The property is Wentworth’s second facility acquisition in that market. The property will be managed by US Storage Centers.

An entity of the William Warren Group (which operates under the name StorQuest) purchased the 75,207-square-foot Outback Storage facility at 1840 E. March Road in Stockton, CA for an undisclosed price. Performance Self Storage Group represented the seller, Owens Realty Mortgage. The property was offered with an asking price of $8 million.

Extra Space Storage purchased A-Alamo Storage at 3535 Katy Freeway in Houston, TX for an undisclosed price. The facility spans 76,720 square feet and offers 854 storage units. Chico LeClaire of Marcus & Millichap in Denver arranged the transaction with assistance from Dave Knobler from the firm’s Houston office.
