National Storage Affiliates made several recent transactions across the United States. The Colorado-based REIT purchased the five-property Granite Clover Self-Storage portfolio in New Hampshire for $28.8 million. The facilities cover a combined 235,000-square-feet of storage space with 1,900 units. The facilities are located in the towns of Amherst, Nashua, Londonderry, Derry and Pembroke. Joseph Mendola of NAI Norwood Group represented the seller. Mendola also brokered the separate sale of additional properties in Dover, Bow, Somersworth and Wakefield to Optivest Properties.

In addition, NSA purchased the three-property Access Self Storage portfolio in Indianapolis, IN recently for an undisclosed amount. Spanning 231,060 square feet and 1,574 total units, sale of the portfolio was arranged by BayView Advisors. The facilities, at 8501 Rockville Road and 4005 S. Emerson Avenue in Indianapolis and 8969 Union Mills Drive in Camby, will be managed by SecurCare Self Storage.

NSA also purchased the 50,810-square-foot Affordable Storage Solutions facility at 90 Greenhorn Drive in Pueblo, CO for $3 million. Chico LeClaire and Adam Schlosser of Marcus & Millichap’s Denver office represented the seller, a local private investor. The facility offers 396 units and was built in phases from 2008 to 2014. SecureCare will manage the facility.

“This acquisition further illustrates the willingness of our industry’s largest companies to enter secondary and tertiary markets if the quality and yield is there, “ Schlosser said.

Simply Self Storage purchased the 61,000-square-foot Surelock Self Storage facility at 7628 Narcoossee Road in Orlando, FL. The purchase was financed by a $6.95 million mortgage, property records show. The property was sold by local husband and wife Bouik and Dana Koshmer. The facility, built in 2006, offers 522 units. The sellers were represented by Michael Mele and Luke Elliott of Marcus & Millichap.

Brian Cohen of Andover Properties purchased Dundee Self Storage at 29500 US Highway 27 in Dundee, FL for $3.475 million. The facility spans 46,305 square feet and offers 369 units. It was built in 2007. Cohen will operate the facility under the brand name Storage King USA. The transaction was arranged by Jay Crotty and Thomas Doyle of BayView Advisors.

Sovran Self Storage purchased the 37,700-square-foot Glenolden Self Storage facility at 407 South Chester Pike in Glenolden, PA for an undisclosed price. The seller, Morris Realty and Investment LLC, was represented by Richard Schontz and Barbara Guffey of HFF.

Dallas-based Rosewood Property Group purchased the 70,200-square-foot facility at 11775 Brooks School Road in Fishers, IN for an undisclosed amount. The facility offers 492 units and was built in 2013. Extra Space Storage will manage the facility. MJ Partners represented the seller.
