Public Storage purchased the 100,350-square-foot self-storage facility (pictured at top) at 1669 Chatham Parkway in Savannah, GA for an undisclosed price.  The 858-unit facility was 83 percent occupied at the time of closing. Bill Bellomy, Michael Johnson and John Arnold of Bellomy & Co. represented the Savannah-based seller.

American Fork, UT-based Wasatch Storage Partners purchased the 90,000-square-foot storage facility at 44 Broadway in Albany, NY for $5.9 million, according to the Albany Business Journal. The facility was developed 12 years ago and operated under the name Albany SuperStorage.

Ziff Properties purchased Clemson Central Storage, a 52,081-square-foot self-storage facility at 1737 Old Central Road in Central, SC for $3.8 million. The facility is located near Clemson University and features 547 units. The buyer plans to add an additional 238 units and a new management office when it renovates the property. Mike MacManus and Stacey Gorman of Marcus & Millichap’s Atlanta office arranged the transaction.

An unidentified regional buyer purchased the seven property Hartsville Mini Storage portfolio in Hartsville, SC. The combined properties offer about 96,000 square feet of storage space and span more than 700 units. Dale Eisenman of Midcoast Properties represented the seller.

An unidentified buyer purchased Iron Vault Storage in Lake Charles, LA for $1.9 million. The facility, at 2859 Ernest Street, offers 323 units. David Knobler and Logan Miller of Marcus & Millichap’s Houston office, with assistant from William Hoffpauir in the firm’s Louisiana office, represented the seller.

Absolute Storage Management purchased Mr. B’s Storage at 6645 US-61 in Imperial, MO for $1.1 million. The 50,600-square-foot facility has 325 units and was 60 percent occupied at the time of sale. The property will be rebranded and marks Absolute’s first foray into the St. Louis market. Larry Goldman of the Argus Self Storage Sales Network represented the seller.
