Memphis-based self-storage construction lender Jernigan Capital announced that Kelly Luttrell has been promoted to the role of Chief Financial Officer effective May 3. Luttrell will replace William Drummond, who will serve as a consultant following his retirement.
Luttrell joined Jernigan Capital as corporate controller in September of 2015. As CFO she will also hold the titles of senior vice president and treasurer.
Luttrell added the title vice president of financial reporting in July 2016. Prior to joining the company served as controller and finance director of MicroPort Orthopedics, Inc., a global medical device manufacturer. Luttrell was also in the audit practice at Ernst & Young for 11 years, where she served in a leadership role on numerous audit engagements for large publicly-traded clients, including clients in the REIT industry. She obtained a master of accountancy and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Baylor University and is a certified public accountant.
“Kelly has helped to build a strong financial group at Jernigan Capital and has designed and implemented internal controls, reporting protocols and accounting practices that will further support our expected growth going forward,” said CEO Dean Jernigan.
NitNeil Partners
Atlanta-based storage development firm NitNeil Partners has added two new members to their leadership team: David Robinson as director of construction and Andrew Guinn as director of investments.
David Robinson brings thirty years of design development and construction management experience from the multifamily sector. Robinson managed the design implementation of 20,000 units throughout the Southeast and Southwest, during his 14 year career with Wood Partners. At NitNeil, David will be responsible for the management of all design and construction related activities. He will oversee the company’s relationships with third party design consultants and general contractors.
Based out of Austin, TX, Andrew Guinn spent the past five years with Virtus Real Estate Capital in their acquisitions group. Andrew was responsible for new investment opportunities from sourcing to closing as well as in depth market research across the self storage sector. At NitNeil, Andrew will oversee asset management of the Company’s self storage portfolio and manage acquisition initiatives.
