A joint venture between McKinney, TX-based Advantage Storage and Chicago, IL-based Harrison Street Real Estate Capital LLC purchased a two-facility portfolio in Arizona and Colorado from a joint venture between American Fork, UT-based Wasatch Storage Partners and a private real estate fund advised by Dallas, TX-based Crow Holdings Capital – Real Estate. The purchase price wasn’t available.

Together, the facilities comprise 147,521 square feet and 1,425 units. One of the facilities, completed in 2017, is at 7910 W. Beardsley Road in Glendale, AZ; it had operated under the CubeSmart brand but now operates as Advantage Storage. The facility features 955 units in 96,950 square feet. The other facility, completed in 2016, is at 11645 W. Belleview Ave. in Littleton, CO. The facility has 470 units in 50,571 square feet; it had operated under the Extra Space Storage brand but now operates as Advantage Storage. Brian Somoza and Steve Mellon, both of JLL Capital Markets, led the JLL team that handled the sale.

Sacramento, CA-based FollettUSA Inc., which owns self-storage facilities and manufactured home communities, bought East Sac Self Storage in Sacramento for $9.8 million from an unidentified seller. The self-storage facility, at 3301 S St., comprises 514 units across 55,000 square feet.

FollettUSA is the new owner of East Sac Self Storage in Sacramento.

An unidentified buyer purchased Zanesville Self Storage in Zanesville, OH, for slightly over $2.4 million from an unidentified seller. The 361-unit facility, at 2255 E. Pike, has 49,100 net rentable square feet on nearly 8.1 acres. Gabriel Coe and Brett Hatcher, both of Marcus & Millichap’s The Hatcher Group in Columbus, OH, represented the buyer and seller.

An unidentified private investment group bought U Storage OK in Edmond, OK, from an unidentified LLC for an undisclosed amount. The newly built facility, at 14000 N. I-35 Service Road, features 623 units in 134,318 net rentable square feet on a nearly 7.9-acre site. Newport Beach, CA-based US Storage Centers has been tapped to manage the facility. Trey Hammond and Michael Mele, both of Marcus & Millichap, represented the seller. Brian Fulton of Marcus & Millichap represented the buyer.

U-Haul bought a self-storage facility in Vacaville, CA, from Granite Bay, CA-based Superior Self Storage Group for an undisclosed amount. The facility, at 1000 Aviator Drive, features 640 units in 92,782 square feet. The two-story property, built in 2017, now operates as U-Haul Moving and Storage of Vaca Valley.
