Katy, TX-based Pinnacle Storage Properties LLC purchased Storage House of Texas in Garland, TX, from an unidentified seller in Rockwall, TX. The purchase price wasn’t disclosed. The 3.9-acre property was listed at $5.3 million. The facility, at 3402 Bobtown Road, has 480 units in over 55,000 net rentable square feet. It will be rebranded as Storage Plus of Garland. Bill Bellomy and Michael Johnson, both of Austin, TX-based Bellomy & Co., represented the seller.
Mount Pleasant, SC-based real estate investment firm Ziff Properties Inc. bought Starpoint Storage in Chapel Hill, SC, from an unidentified seller. The purchase price wasn’t available. The facility was listed at $2.9 million. Ziff plans to convert the warehouse buildings at the eight-building property into self-storage space. The complex, at 2000 Ashley Wade Lane, currently comprises 83,000 square feet. Extra Space Storage will manage the renovated facility, according to The Post and Courier in Charleston, SC. Rick Amon of Colliers International in Raleigh, NC, handled the deal.
Grand Teton Storage & Business Park in Sugar City, ID, has a new owner. An unidentified self-storage investor based in Utah bought the facility from an unidentified private investor. The purchase price wasn’t disclosed. The facility, at 1133 S. Railroad Ave., features 249 units in 45,000 rentable square feet. The 4.2-acre property also includes six warehouse units with land available for expansion. Richard Bird and Matt Bird, both of Idaho Falls, ID-based BIRD Realty Advisors, represented the seller, and found and represented the buyer.
Public Storage purchased a Storage Express facility in Columbia, SC, from Columbia, SC-based Oaktree Development LLC for an undisclosed amount. The facility, at 3400 Broad River Road, features 382 units in more than 46,000 rentable square feet. Dale Eisenman of Hilton Head, SC-based Midcoast Properties Inc. represented Storage Express.
