The City Council in Woodland Park, CO, voted 5-0 to approve an ordinance that will allow for the construction of a 72,000-square-foot self-storage facility on the old Saddle Club property on Highway 24. Developer M3XP2 bought the Saddle Club property for $2.4 million. Saddle Club members are suing, saying the sale was advanced absent the approval of club members. Also, Eric Smith, a partner at M3XP2, said the primary use would be for truck/trailer rentals, and the self-storage would be a secondary use.
