1604 Store and More, a 140,220-square-foot self-storage facility located in San Antonio, TX, has been sold. The facility is situated on approximately 11.3 acres of land and features 269 climate controlled units and 289 non-climate controlled units.

Red Dot Storage, operated by Louisville, CO-based Sparkplug Capital LLC, purchased four self-storage facilities — three in the Wichita, KS, market and one in Monroe, LA — from unidentified sellers for undisclosed amounts. The four facilities encompass 647 units across 107,615 net rentable square feet. The facilities are:

  • A-B Mini Storage at 511 W. MacArthur Road in Wichita
  • All Storage of Maize at 5081 and 5085 N. Maize Road in Maize, KS
  • All Storage of Park City at 6331 Louisville Drive in Park City, KS
  • Affordable Safe Storage at 207 Chatham St. in Monroe.

The addition of these facilities pushed Red Dot Storage past the 5 million mark for total net rentable square feet. Together, the Maize and Park City facilities were listed at $2.3 million.

An unidentified self-storage operator purchased two Self Storage 1 facilities — one in Los Angeles, CA, and the other in Houston, TX — from Danville, CA-based Cardiff Mason Development Inc. for an undisclosed amount. The facilities comprise 1,646 units across more than 158,000 square feet. The facilities are at 11820 W. Olympic Blvd. in Los Angeles and 5321 Richmond Ave. in Houston. Greg Wells of Cushman & Wakefield’s office in San Diego, CA; Steve Mellon of JLL’s office in Houston; and Brian Somoza of JLL’s office in Los Angeles represented the seller. Malvern, PA-based CubeSmart now manages the facilities.

Alliance Moving & Self Storage Center in Alliance, OH, has changed hands for $855,000. The buyer and seller weren’t identified. The facility, at 23649 Harrisburg Westville Road, offers 68 units in 14,273 net rentable square feet. The Hatcher Group of Marcus & Millichap’s office in Columbus, OH, handled the deal.

Elite Self Storage in Tipp City, OH, has changed hands. The buyer and seller weren’t identified. The purchase price wasn’t available; the facility was listed at $1.1 million. The facility, at 4395 Lisa Drive, has 258 units and boat/RV parking spaces in 23,400 net rentable square feet. Brooklyn, NY-based Merit Hill Capital LP purchased Randall Self Storage in North Aurora, IL, from an unidentified LLC for an undisclosed amount. The facility, at 1051 Kettle Ave., encompasses 640 units in 76,696 rentable square feet. Sean Delaney of Marcus & Millichap’s office in Oak Brook, IL, and Michael Mele of Marcus & Millichap’s office in Tampa, FL, represented the seller, and found and represented the buyer. Salt Lake City, UT-based Extra Space Storage now manages the facility.

Scotty’s Corie’s Self Storage in Shreveport, LA, has a new owner. The buyer and seller weren’t identified. The purchase price wasn’t disclosed; the list price was $975,000. The facility, at 4812 Monkhouse Drive, comprises 224 units in 33,191 square feet. The facility, at 1155 Powers Ferry Place SE, encompasses 883 units and RV parking in more than 144,000 gross square feet. Pamela Arms of The Storage Acquisition Group in Yorktown, VA, brokered the sale.
