Public Storage purchased a Life Storage facility in Arvada, CO, from an unidentified LLC. The purchase price wasn’t disclosed. The facility, at 14872 W. 69th Ave., features 637 units in 64,320 square feet. Adam Schlosser and Charles “Chico” LeClaire, both of The LeClaire Group at Marcus & Millichap’s office in Denver, CO, represented the seller. The facility opened in January 2018.
Florham Park, NJ-based Columbia Storage Group LLC purchased four self-storage facilities in New York’s Rondout Valley from two separate owners — Todd Polonsky and Shane Ricks — for undisclosed amounts. Together, the facilities, which were sold as one portfolio, encompass more than 550 units across 64,000 square feet. The facilities are Rondout Valley Self Storage and Valley Self Storage, both in Accord, NY, and two Ellenville Mini Storage properties (one in Ellenville, NY, and the other in Wawarsing, NY). York PA-based Investment Real Estate LLC helped broker the deal. The facilities now operate under the Columbia Self Storage brand.
An unidentified buyer purchased Air Capital Self Storage in Haysville, KS, from Air Capital Self Storage LLC for $598,000. The facility, on 1.58 acres at 520 S. Broadway St., encompasses 25,925 square feet. The number of units wasn’t available. Larry Goldman of RE/MAX Commercial in Overland Park, KS, who’s affiliated with the Aurora, CO-based Argus Self Storage Sales Network, handled the deal.
Columbia, MO-based StorageMart purchased Move It Self Storage – Braun Road in San Antonio, TX, from Dallas-based Move It Self Storage for an undisclosed amount. The facility, on 4.1 acres at 10930 Braun Road, provides 500 units and 23 parking spaces across more than 72,000 rentable square feet. Bill Bellomy and Michael Johnson of Bellomy & Co represented the buyer and seller.
Cleveland, OH-based Compass Self Storage LLC, part of the Amsdell family of companies, purchased Acworth Stor-All in Acworth, GA, from an unidentified seller. The purchase price wasn’t disclosed. The facility, at 5745 Bells Ferry Road, features 524 units in more than 50,700 net rentable square feet. J.L. “Chip” Mack III of Atlanta, GA-based McWhirter Realty Partners LLC represented the buyer.
Mount Pleasant, SC-based Ziff Properties Inc. purchased A Dent In The Attic Self Storage in Tallahassee, FL., from an unidentified seller for an undisclosed amount. The facility, on nearly 2.7 acres at 2420 Monticello Drive, covers 51,000 rentable square feet. The number of units wasn’t available. A 4,500-square-foot expansion is planned. Malvern, PA-based CubeSmart now operates the facility.
