Columbia, MO-based StorageMart recently purchased five facilities in the Kansas City, MO, market. In one deal, it purchased the Self Storage Depot portfolio, with four facilities in Blue Springs, Independence and Lee’s Summit, MO. The purchase price wasn’t disclosed. The facilities encompass more than 1,300 storage units and nearly 200 parking spaces.

StorageMart recently purchased the 80,000-square-foot Metcalf Self Storage facility in Overland Park, KS.

StorageMart also purchased Metcalf Self Storage in Overland Park, KS for an undisclosed amount. The facility, at 15415 Metcalf Ave., contains 639 units in nearly 80,000 rentable square feet.

Bill Barnhill and Stuart LaGroue Sr. of Mobile, AL-based Omega Properties Inc. represented the seller in the $3.6 million sale of Storage Stop Mini Storage in Pensacola, FL, to Cordova, TN-based Absolute Storage Management Inc. The business, with facilities at 1130 W. Nine Mile Road and 725 W. Detroit Blvd., provides 487 units in 76,675 rentable square feet. Barnhill and LaGroue are affiliated with the Argus Self Storage Sales Network.

Yevgeni Kaniayev of York, PA-based Investment Real Estate LLC represented seller Michael Powers in the $785,000 sale of Secure Stor Self Storage in Concord, VA, to an unidentified investor. The facility, at 1005 Richmond Highway, features more than 130 units.

Marcus & Millichap report that Dave Knobler of the Houston office and Charles “Chico” LeClaire of the Denver office represented an unidentified California family trust in the sale of A&A Self Storage in San Antonio, TX, to an unidentified buyer. The purchase price wasn’t disclosed. The facility, on 3.6 acres at 6100 Ingram Road, features 363 storage units and 37 outdoor parking spaces across 44,475 net rentable square feet. It now operates under the CubeSmart brand.

An affiliate of Crow Holdings Capital-Real Estate purchased Preferred Self Storage in Dallas.

Bill Bellomy and Michael Johnson of Austin, TX-based Bellomy & Co. represented the buyer and seller of Preferred Self Storage in Dallas, TX. The purchase price wasn’t disclosed. The buyer was CH SS Fund/Dallas Frankford, a private real estate fund advised by Dallas-based Crow Holdings Capital-Real Estate. The seller was Dallas-based MEMC II LLC. The facility, on 2.75 acres at 3737 Frankford Road, offers 541 units in 57,825 net rentable square feet. It now operates under the CubeSmart brand.
