Lake Forest, IL-based Metro Storage LLC purchased two self-storage facilities — one in Florida and the other in Tennessee.

In Florida, the company bought an Extra Space Storage-branded facility in Orlando. The seller wasn’t identified; the purchase price wasn’t disclosed. The facility, at 7500 W. Colonial Drive, encompasses 641 units in 62,607 rentable square feet.

In Tennessee, the company bought Red Carpet Self Storage in Franklin. The seller wasn’t identified; the purchase price wasn’t disclosed. The facility, at 108 Werthan Circle, contains 562 units. The square footage wasn’t available.

Nye Commercial Advisors reports the following deal:

Patrick Kidder, vice president investment sales at Wesley Chapel, FL-based Nye Commercial Advisors represented that Public Storage purchased the Affordable Self Storage portfolio. The portfolio consists of 142,570 net rentable square feet and 1,198 Units across two facilities. Kidder represented the unidentified seller and secured the buyer..

U-Haul International Inc. (Phoenix, AZ) reports:

The company purchased two self-storage facilities in New Hampshire: Budget Storage in Fremont and Moultonboro Self Storage in Moultonborough. The sellers weren’t identified; the purchase prices weren’t disclosed.

The Fremont facility, on 11.46 acres at 25 Main St., features more than 500 indoor and outdoor units. The square footage wasn’t available.

The Moultonborough facility, at 1060 Whittier Highway, offers 200 units. The square footage wasn’t available.

Brandon Karr and Danny Cunningham of the company’s office in Fort Worth, TX, represented the seller of West Side Storage in Springtown, TX. Neither the seller/developer nor the Fort Worth-based buyer was identified. The purchase price wasn’t disclosed. The facility, on 3.4 acres at 1050 W. Highway 199, offers 278 units in 44,500 square feet.
