The two-facility East Self Storage portfolio in West Columbia, SC, has changed hands. Michael Morrison of Hilton Head Island, SC-based Midcoast Properties Inc. handled the deal.

The buyer and seller weren’t identified. The purchase price wasn’t disclosed.

The facilities, at 3943 Platt Springs Road and 1351 Lake Dogwood Drive, offer a combined 337 units across 35,625 rentable square feet. The two sites, totaling 5.31 acres, offer room for self-storage expansion or additional parking.

JLL Capital Markets reports:

Steve Mellon of the company’s office in Houston, TX, and Brian Somoza of the company’s office in Los Angeles, CA, represented the seller, Safe Keeping Self Storage in Houston. The buyer was Brooklyn, NY-based Merit Hill Capital LP. The purchase price wasn’t disclosed. The facility, at 6610 Highway 6 North, features 709 units. The square footage wasn’t available. Salt Lake City, UT-based Extra Space Storage now operates the facility.

The Argus Self Storage Sales Network (Aurora, CO) reports:

Bruce Bahrmasel of Landstar Realty Group Inc. in Lincolnwood, IL, handled the sale of ACL Self Storage in Elgin, IL. The buyer and seller weren’t identified. The purchase price wasn’t disclosed. The facility, on 2.84 acres at 1741 Weld Road, offers 37,180 rentable square feet.

Marcus & Millichap reports:

Jon Danklefs of the company’s office in San Antonio, TX, represented the unidentified seller of Mines Road Self Storage in Laredo, TX. The buyer was San Antonio-based Store It All Self Storage. The purchase price wasn’t disclosed. The facility, at 9807 Mines Road, comprises 47,830 square feet.

Pinnacle Storage Properties (Katy, TX) reports:

The company purchased two self-storage facilities in Texas — AAA Storage, at 12085 Highway 36 South in Bellville, and A-Max Storage, at 21012 State Highway 71 West in Spicewood. Both facilities now operate under the Storage Plus brand. The SpareFoot Storage Beat previously reported other details about the purchase of AAA Storage and the purchase of A-Max Storage.
