Memphis, TN-based Jernigan Capital Inc. purchased five self-storage facilities from Coconut Beach, FL-based MCSS Development & Investment LLC for an undisclosed amount.

The CubeSmart-branded facilities are in Miami, FL, as well as the Miami suburbs of Coconut Grove, Pembroke Pines and Sweetwater. The facilities encompass 4,141 units in 367,088 rentable square feet.

This Pembroke Pines storage facility is one of five recently sold by MCSS Development to Jernigan Capital.

MCSS Development & Investment is a joint venture between Coconut Grove-based Rivergate Cos. LLC and SJM Partners Inc., with offices in Delray Beach, FL, and Reston, VA.

New York City, NY-based First Neck Self-Storage Group LLC bought a Snapbox self-storage facility in Pembroke Pines, FL, from Storage Pros Pembroke Pines and Wagner Pembroke Pines of Farmington Hills, MI, for $13 million. The facility, at 8321 Pines Blvd., features 111,023 square feet. The unit count wasn’t available. First Neck Self-Storage Group is a joint venture between New York City-based CSM Capital Corp. and Philadelphia, PA-based Self-Storage Capital Partners.

PAG Investments (New York City, NY) reports:

The company purchased Heritage Self Storage in Endicott, NY from an unidentified seller. The purchase price wasn’t disclosed. The facility, on 13.89 acres at 301 Glendale Drive, offers 570 storage units and 200 rentable parking spaces across 109,813 square feet. Robert Streicher of Clifton, NJ-based Striker Investment Realty LLC represented the seller.

The Colliers International Self Storage Group reports:

The company handled the sale of Assured Storage in Winston-Salem, NC, to Glendale, CA-based Public Storage. The seller wasn’t identified. The purchase price wasn’t disclosed. The facility, at 4191 Bethania Station Road, consists of 58,450 square feet. The unit count wasn’t available.

The Argus Self Storage Sales Network (Aurora, CO) reports:

  • Richard Minker and Chad Snyder of Dallas, TX-based Dominus Commercial represented Bargain Storage in its purchase of Saf-T-Loc Storage in Dallas. The seller wasn’t identified. The purchase price wasn’t disclosed. The facility, on 3.8 acres at 11359 Reeder Road, offers 95,256 square feet. The unit count wasn’t available.
  • Minker and Synder also represented Iron Guard Storage in its purchase of Scotty’s Storage in Killeen, TX. The seller wasn’t identified. The purchase price wasn’t disclosed. The facility sits on 5.37 acres at 5400 E. Central Texas Expressway. The square footage and unit count weren’t available.
