Not secure, keeps deposit, and rents out dirty units
The owner of West Point Storage did not honor the SpareFoot price and kept the deposit upon moving out. He did not even tell us. When I enquired, he claimed that the unit was left very dirty, even though we had to sweep it before we could move in and stored brand new moving boxes for only 14 days. I did not see any security cameras but a fence that is broken down. The gate is open during gate hours, even if the office is unattended, allowing anyone to walk through the gate or to bypass the fence. I would not recommend storing your valuables here.

West Point Storage stole my money!
West Point Storage forced me to pay an entire month's rent in advance and a cleaning deposit in advance, just to hold a storage unit one week. I ended up not needing the unit. When I cancelled the reservation, they kept all my money and did not refund anything. Reputable companies will reserve/hold a unit up to a week at no charge. Reputable companies will also pro-rate the rent and only charge a partial month's rent if you don't use the unit the entire month. And reputable companies will refund a cleaning deposit, especially when you never even put anything in the unit.
