With self-storage development ramping up across the country, The SpareFoot Storage Beat decided to track how much and how fast new construction is coming. The following two graphics look at the state of self-storage construction from January through June. We will continue to track new development in the industry on a periodic basis in an effort to shed light on a commercial real estate sector where data is in relatively short supply.
