Diamond Point Development LLC partnered with Castle Hill Investors LLC to open CubeSmart Self Storage at 95 Mill Plain Road, Danbury, CT. The site has 105,000 square feet (including 75,100 rentable square feet and 737 units), located across the street from Caraluzzi’s Danbury Market. CubeSmart will manage the facility. CubeSmart Danbury is the 14th self-storage that Diamond Point Development has delivered, including eight properties in the Northeast. This is their first development in Connecticut. Brothers Jason Sommer and Aaron Sommer are the principals of Diamond Point Development. Also involved are Castle Hill Investors, based in Miami, FL; EDC, general contractor and SAA Architects.

In Pennsylvania, a new five-story self-storage facility is planned for a property off Haines Road in Bristol Township. Bristol Realty Group, the project’s developer, wants to transform a portion of a 2.28-acre property off Haines Road into a new self-storage site. It’s located at 1502 to 1510 Haines Road in Levittown and calls for 113 units. They would be placed behind existing commercial places, such as Windsor Pharmacy and Pontecelli Pizzeria and Restaurant.
