West Coast Self-Storage opened a new storage facility with 613 units in North Santa Rosa, CA. More on that and other projects, including Rosewood Property's new facility in Upstate New York.

West Coast Self-Storage opened a new self-storage facility at 970 Piner Road in North Santa Rosa, CA. It has 613 climate-controlled units totaling 46,910 rentable square feet. Also, the business will be a U-Haul Neighborhood Partner, offering truck and trailer rentals to help with moving and storage. West Coast Self-Storage Group is based in Everett, WA, and operates in more than 142 locations in the western United States.

Planned

The former Burlington Coat Factory at the South Hills Mall in Poughkeepsie, NY has changed its plans. It will become a new store rather than be transformed into a storage facility. The building was vacated four years ago when the clothing store moved from the out-of-the-way store tucked behind the South Hills Mall into the former Toys ‘R Us building on Route 9. The city of Charleston, IL, passed a final plan to convert and use an area adjacent to the West Park Plaza shopping area. Spring Property Management LLC backed the measure. Plans include temperature-controlled self-storage units, an indoor pickleball site and concessions. Source: WCIA

Bristol Township Council approved final land-development plans for self-storage facility in Levittown, PA. Bristol Realty Group plans to build a self-storage facility on part of a 2.28-acre property at 1502 to 1510 Haines Road. The company plans to build 113 units, which will be placed behind existing commercial establishments, including Windsor Pharmacy and Ponticelli Pizzeria and Restaurant. Source: Levittown Now

Dallas, TX-based Rosewood Property Co., the majority equity partner with Diamond Point Development, started building an 81,000-square foot self-story facility in Carmel, NY, about 62 miles north of New York City. Extra Space Storage will manage the property. The multistory site will offer 800 climate-controlled units across three floors. Completion is expected by Q4 2025. Source: Rosewood Property

Local owners of Silo Self Storage opened a self-storage facility at 9081 Georgia 5 in Douglas, GA. Absolute Storage Management manages the facility, which features 451 units totaling 63,525 rentable square feet.
