Marcus & Millichap also brokered the sale of Churchill Bridge Storage, which is a 130-unit boat and RV storage facility in Brazoria, a Texas Gulf Coast city. The site has 51,512 NRSF. Colliers announced the sale of 101219th Ave W, a 19,240-square foot facility in Everett, WA. The Colliers team that represented the buyer, In Self Storage, included Jacob Becher, Nate Fliflet, Dana Chobor and Tom de Jong. Blackdog Properties was the seller. The property has 119 units. Colliers also announced the sale of the 57,700-square-foot Northlynn Mini-Storage at 15620 Highway 99 in the Lynnwood area of Seattle, WA. It will be rebranded as SecureSpace Self Storage Lynnwood. Jacob Becher, Nate Fliflet, Dana Chobor and Tom de Jong made up the Colliers’ transaction team. Lanswell Development Corp. represented the seller. GCP SecureSpace Properties LLC was the buyer.
Refinance
Gantry secured an $18 million loan to refinance two self-storage sites in California’s Simi Valley and San Diego, both under the Ace Self Storage brand. The 10-year company loan has a 30-year amortization period. Peter Welsh, principal, and Bahman Mirhashemi, senior director, worked on behalf of the borrower, a private owner. The combined properties have 1,634 units. Ace Self Storage, at 52 Tierra Rejada Road in Simi Valley, has 54,718 square feet. The San Diego facility, at 7988 Miramar Road, has 115,758 square feet.
