Buchanan Street Partners LP, based in Newport Beach, CA, has entered the Northern California market by purchasing a self-storage facility at 12200 Rock Creek Road in Auburn, CA. The selling price was $20.75 million. It has 116,500 square feet spread across 825 units and 40 RV parking spaces. Westport Properties Inc. will manage the property under the US Storage Centers brand.
Seven Hills Realty Trust, a mortgage REIT, provided a $25.3 million refinancing of two storage facilities in Atlanta and Fayetteville, GA owned by Castle Hill Investors and Olympus Ventures LLC. The properties have more than 170,000 square feet and were built in 2020 by Diamond Point Development. They operate under the Life Storage brand. The LeClaire-Schlosser Group of Marcus & Millichap announced the sale of Extra Space Storage (managed), an 88,507-square-foot, one-story facility in St. Ann, MO. Jordan Farrer, vice president of investments in the firm’s Salt Lake City office, and Adam Schlosser, senior managing director in the Denver office, represented the seller, a national self-storage company, and also found the buyer.
