A new self-storage facility is coming to the site of the former Babies R Us building northwest of Academy Boulevard and Platte Avenue in Colorado Springs, CO. The building will be remodeled into a climate-controlled, interior self-storage facility. Also, new exterior buildings will be constructed to the west.

It’s designed to serve Brampton, Oakville, Etobicoke and Toronto residents, among others. The company is offering 50% off for three months on all units. Safeguard Self Storage opened a 62,000-gross-square-foot self-storage facility at 9101 County Line Road in Spring Hill, FL, in the Tampa MSA (above). It has 44,000 NRSF for climate-controlled units plus 62 RV and boat parking spaces. The site is Safeguard’s seventh property in the market, with three more in development.
