Midcoast Properties Inc. announced the sale of Capstone Self Storage at 561 N. Pike East in Sumter, SC. An out-of-state buyer made the purchase. Midcoast’s Michael Morrison represented the seller. The facility sits on 2.1 acres and has 84 drive-up units spread across 11,950 RSF. Sumter is about 40 miles east of Columbia, SC.

Versal
Versal announced the sale of Paradise Self Storage in Rockport, TX, 35 miles east of Corpus Christi. It has 113 units totaling 23,800 NRSF. The facility went up in 1994. Bill Bellomy, Michael Johnson, Logan Foster and Hugh Horne of Versal represented Elkhorn River Investments LLC, the Iowa-based seller. They also found the buyer, Preis Investments Inc. of Corpus Christi. Versal is based in Austin, TX and Los Angeles, CA.
Versal also announced the sale of Highway 21 Storage in Kyle, TX. The facility was developed in 2021/2022 and has 240 units spread across 68,775 NRSF. Versal’s Bill Bellomy, Michael Johnson, Logan Foster and Hugh Horne represented the private, Texas-based seller. They also found the buyer, Andover Properties / Storage King USA.
Marcus & Millichap
The LeClaire-Schlosser Group of Marcus & Millichap announced the sale of StorageMax, a 66,034-square-foot storage facility in Kalispell, MT. It is at 3190 Montana Highway 35 and has 248 drive-up non-climate units, 18 drive-up heated RV units, 13 RV and boat units, and three outdoor parking spaces. Jordan Farrer, first vice president of investments, in the firm’s Salt Lake City office, and Adam Schlosser, senior managing director in the Denver office, represented the seller, a local department company. Adam Christofferson, Marcus & Millichap division manager, was the broker of record.

Jordan Farrer and Adam Schlosser represented the seller, a Utah-based professional real estate investment company. The property is in a fast-growing region of the Salt Lake Metro at 4258 13400 South. Marcus & Millichap also found the buyer, Public Storage.
Marcus & Millichap announced the sale of Apache Self Storage at 2502 Harwood Road in Gonzales, TX, which has 303 units and sits on 2.72 acres. It has 50 climate-controlled units, 210 non-climate-controlled units, 24 container units and 19 parking spaces. Jon Danklefs, an investment specialist in the San Antonio, TX office, represented the seller and found the buyer, an LLC.
