Sold! Hearthfire enters Oklahoma market with Tulsa self-storage purchase

Hearthfire entered the Oklahoma market by purchasing 2817 N. Peoria Ave. in Tulsa. The site has 22,900 square feet spread across 11 acres that is planned to expand to 86,000+ square feet and 800+ units, with both climate- and nonclimate-controlled units. Hearthfire worked with a joint venture partner, Sundance Bay, on the transaction, with more to come. Hearthfire Holdings LLC, founded by Sergio and Corinn Altomare, sources, buys, develops and owns a portfolio of self-storage assets comprising $75 million in assets under management across seven states.

Amy’s Attic Self Storage announced the purchase and future development of property at the intersection of East Stagecoach Road and Featherline Road in Killeen, TX. It will have an estimated 105,000 square feet of storage space and climate control. The facility will open in spring 2005. Compass Self Storage purchased a self-storage center at 1050 Flat Shoals Road SE in Conyers, GA. It has more than 73,500 NRSF and is Compass’ 19th location in Georgia. The facility is located in the Conyers, a suburb of Atlanta. It has both drive-up and climate-controlled units. Compass has more than 100 locations nationwide and is part of the Amsdell family of companies based in Cleveland, OH. Source: Globe Newswire 

Marcus & Millichap

A private owner has bought a 48,450-square-foot CubeSmart property at 909 S. Chio Lake Blvd. in Ridgecrest, CA. Hix Snedeker Cos. sold the site for $5.7 million. The one-story building formerly was a Walmart Center built in 1991. (above) Dean Trammel, investment associate, and Adam Schlosser, senior managing director of The LeClaire-Schlosser Group of Marcus & Millichap, represented the seller and found the buyer. Jim Markel, first vice president, served as broker of record. The building sits on 11 acres and has 457 climate-controlled units.

The LeClaire-Schlosser Group of Marcus & Millichap arranged the sale of Secure Self Storage in Clinton, UT (above). The facility has 101,025 square feet. Jordan Farrer and Adam Schlosser represented the seller, a family development group. Marcus & Millichap also found the buyer, Mountain West Self Storage. Secure Self Storage has four one-story buildings and a total of  647 climate-controlled and non-climate-controlled units. They are just off N 2000 W in a highly populated area. Surrounding retailers include Walmart Supercenter, Jersey Mike’s Subs, Walgreens, UPS, O’Reily Auto Parts, Panda Express and others.
