In Colorado, the Englewood Planning and Zoning Commission is considering changing the city’s zoning code to allow for a 60,000-square-foot project at the former Kmart site at 200 W. It is on the former site of Halm Industries, a printing press manufacturer. The plan calls for a three-story, climate-controlled building with about 900 units at 180 Glen Head Road. JDA bought 2.5 acres of the Halm property for $3 million. Life Storage will operate the facility.
