Iron Gate Storage - TV Highway

My name is Tiffany, and I am submitting this as a formal complaint regarding my recent experience with Iron Gate Storage. I am also sharing this publicly so others can understand the challenges I encountered. I signed up for a storage unit under a 3-month promotional offer. The employee who assisted me made it clear she was not the regular staff member and would “do her best.” She completed the paperwork, but at no point did she mention a required 30-day written notice to vacate. My daughter was with me during the entire process, and we can both confirm that this policy was never communicated verbally. After my promotion ended, I vacated the unit two days before the first of the month, only to be told I was responsible for paying the next month’s full, non-promotional rate because I had not provided a 30-day notice. I was informed this requirement was buried in a 42-page contract that the associate supposedly reviewed with me—something that simply did not happen. When I brought up these concerns, the staff member in the office was dismissive, condescending, and offered no real solution. Rather than acknowledging the lack of communication during sign-up, she repeatedly pointed to the contract after the fact. The attitude and unwillingness to address a clear oversight were extremely unprofessional. This experience felt misleading and left me paying for information that was never disclosed. Customers deserve transparency, honesty, and competent service—none of which were provided in this situation. I hope Iron Gate Storage takes this complaint seriously and improves communication and customer service going forward.

After initially saying the could not help me move spaces to gain better access for my boat parking without increasing my rate, Tai who works in the office worked with management to get my request done with no rate increase. Thank you Tai for all of your work!

Ty was great to work with; I highly recommend using this facility. I rented from them 8+ years ago also and got great service back then too.

Prices high rocket afterthe 2nd month. Rediculous. 10 x 10 went from$100 to almost $200. I just found a 12 x 26 elsewhere for the same price!!! The new Management is horrible too. I'm glad that I'm finally moving out. 🤬
