Generally, as a rule we don't rent over the phone for this exact reason. Had someone been here and walked out to unit upon rental, we would have known that there was a lock issue instantly. It is very difficult to rent over the phone and email due to people's expectation's, we never really do over email rental because people often get upset if something isn't to their liking or expectation once they get here. I took care of the problem immediately upon opening of office, he phoned office after hours about lock issue, had it been during regular working hours it would have been taken care right then and there, and he could have made one trip. And the second problem was that he didn't push door down and slide lock hard enough, all he had to do was push it down and slide it over, he told me the lock was broken so I had my guy check it and he showed me there was nothing wrong with it, that is not our fault, the slide lock worked fine. I did go above and beyond what we normally for this over the phone rental, this is not our policy.
