Owning a house here costs more than double the national average and over 25% more than in Riverside, the county seat. Renting is more affordable than owning, but still over 50% higher than the average American home and about 15% more than in Riverside, which is located only 15 miles northeast of Corona and has about double its population.

Are There Good and Bad Neighborhoods in Corona?

Most locals tend to agree that the best areas to live in Corona lie south of Ontario Street. This is the prime spot for new and upscale homes and there are also a lot of shops around. Other areas that might suit you include Eagle Glen, Green River, and south Coronita. On the other side, you might want to stay clear of 6th Street and Home Gardens although home prices are more tempting there.
