Extra Space Storage - 0628 - Dallas - Lemmon Ave

I have been renting with Extra Space for years and I am amazed on how the property is well kept. Today, I had a chance to met with the store manager KahEl. After over hearing the compliment he received from another customer in the office, I retreated and observe for myself. This man went outside to direct traffic with a semi truck, a delivery truck, 2 customers and myself. He even stop to help a customer pickup their vehicle with there boxes. And still assisted me with my moving needs. Overall, KahEl has made me a believer of white glove service, excellent customer care and knowledgeable of the business. A reaffirming of how great this company is. Thank you KahEl. You are amazing.

The staff has always been friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful (which isn’t always a given these days). Any questions or needs I’ve had were handled quickly and smoothly. The facility itself is clean, well-maintained, and makes storing my things feel less like “storage” and more like a well-organized extension of home. If you’re looking for a storage company that’s reliable, professional, and doesn’t make you dread visiting your unit, Extra Space Storage is the place. They’ve earned my trust—and my stuff has survived a year, so that says a lot!

It was all good, until they upped the price to double, in less than a year. However, that's not even the biggest problem, there was a break in over the weekend, August 12, 2023. They will probably not call the tenants, so I hope some of them will see this. There is no security overnight and they will not call the police to report it, because they did not see it happening ?!?. 2 cameras and no one monitoring. The place is trashed and we have to take care of it on our own. I am fixing to move quick. Took some pictures this morning. Update September 2025: things have improved some. No break ins as of lately, and the customer service is a thousand times better since Kahlil started. The best interactions ever, he takes time to make everyone happy no matter what. Before him, I used to call and leave messages, now my call is answered the first time. I just hope things stay this way.

Came here to rent a unit and I’m so glad I did. Bree was helpful from start to finish in helping us find the right unit for us. We were looking for specifics due to a disaster in the past with a different company. She was kind enough to take the time to find us the perfect unit for us. Upon seeing it we immediately rented it. The facility was also very clean and truly climate controlled. Unfortunately, with work I move around a lot so I’m familiar with multiple brands and facilities in several states in all different regions of the USA. This is by far this is the best climate controlled unit I’ve been in.

Kahlil here at the Extra Space Storage on Lemmon Ave has been awesome to work with! We found ourselves without access or keys to a family member’s unit who is no longer capable of providing this info. Kahlil has worked hard to make sure we are who we say we are in regards to the familial relationship while also providing the security expected in protecting the belongings. Thank you!
