Extra Space Storage is a trustworthy establishment. The facility, units, and grounds are all very clean and well-kept. The prices are fair and Joel is especially helpful. He is informative, kind, and professional.

Was thinking about renting a space in the area. Saw this one and came in to check out what they look like in person, And so glad that I did. The manager, Joel Evans, was so knowledgeable and easy to talk to. He immediately made me feel comfortable and showed me multiple units. I feel like if I had kept asking, he would've kept smiling and kept showing. LOL. It's a shame you can't get that kind of service at most places.

I've been renting from this location for a while and can recommend this business for storage rental. Their prices are reasonable, facilities are clean, staff is attentive and friendly, and most of the units are easy enough to access (if you go further from the elevators there can be some tight turns to get to your unit.) One thing to be aware of is they do raise prices, typically every 6 months, if you're paying month to month. The only criticism I have for this location is that they desperately need more parking but otherwise I'm happy to do business here and can recommend this storage facility.

I have had a unit here for over 3 years now maybe 4. I went in ready to pack up and move to a different storage facility as I'm paying a lot to be in a basement on a hill. I met the manager Joel and he offered me multiple other units with a variety of pricing and put together a list of unit #'s I could visit to get an idea of the size. I ended up keeping the unit I was in. Joel made me feel confident being a long term renter from extra space storage is the right choice for my families belongings.

Joel was a super helpful supervisor of the downtown Durham ExtraSpace storage building. He helped us procure the best unit for our needs, and even after move-in, has given us the best customer service. We appreciate him and the rest of his staff.
