Climate-controlled self-storage unit
All the fees were explained upfront. The other companies I checked out were not climate controlled like GoldKey is, so they were slightly cheaper. However, I chose to pay a bit more for my comfort and the safety of my belongings. The customer service was great and my unit is safe and easy to get to. The building is SOOO clean.

Great location with easy access
We live in El Dorado Hills and thought that the big RV and Boat storage you can see from hwy 50 was going to be our only indoor storage option. Fighting traffic on Sunrise and the narrow driveway was somewhat a concern but then we discovered they could not accommodate an RV over 38 feet. They did us a huge favor and suggested we check www.sparefoot.com. We had never heard of it but when I submitted my search criteria it led us to GoldKey. We had no idea there was a facility this close to our home. The folks working there were amazing Ann at the front counter had called me earlier in the day and she introduced us to Mike who gave us a tour and explained the services. We signed up on the spot. We selected the option which includes having the RV plugged in and they will wash it every time we take it our. Since we cannot store the RV in our own garage this is the next best thing.

Well maintained facility. Looks brand new, with wide halls and an elevator at all four corners.

Truly the best of the best.
I've used Gold Key twice now and have found their excellence to be consistent. There's a storage facility very close to my home, but I choose to use Gold Key because of their facility and great customer service. You won't be sorry you chose them.
