• State Farm Stadium: In this multipurpose facility, you can enjoy the NFL's Arizona Cardinals home games, the annual Fiesta Bowl, large concerts, and various shows and expositions. Other professional sporting venues in the area are Desert Diamond Arena and Camelback Ranch.

• Adobe Mountain Desert Railroad Park: This family-friendly park complex houses a train museum, the Arizona Model Railroading Society (AMRS), and live steamers with free Sunday train rides from October through April.

• Sahuaro Ranch Park: You can stroll through the rose garden, have a picnic, or play games in a historic area with beautiful orchards and restored structures that date back to 1886.

Glendale Neighborhoods To Consider

Glendale is L-shaped and divided into six districts: Cholla and Sahuaro in the north, Yucca in the west, and Barrel, Cactus, and Ocotillo in the middle.

Home to State Farm Stadium, Glendale Municipal Airport, and Luke Air Force Base, Yucca is a sparsely inhabited district. Its neighborhood highlights are the quiet and peaceful Camelback Park and the well-maintained Rovey Farm Estates. Ocotillo brings to the table the large O'Neil Ranch Association and historic downtown Glendale, while Cactus takes pride in Bethany Heights.

Further north, you could be interested in Sahuaro's Hummingbird Haven or Cholla's Arrowhead. Arrowhead Homestead is the original community around which the large Arrowhead Ranch area was developed. It is now one of its main neighborhoods, along with Arrowhead Lakes, Highlands, Arrowhead Legends, and Sierra Verde.
